I think I’m going to cry. Joss is coming back to TV and… oh god…. he’s bringing friends.
Eliza Dushku and Tim Minear.
“Dollhouse” stars Dushku as Echo, one of a group of secret agents living in a futuristic dorm. Each has the ability to be imprinted with custom personalities and abilities for special assignments. When they return, their newly acquired memories are wiped. The show follows Echo as she takes on a variety of assignments—some romantic, some adventurous, some uplifting, some illegal—and gains awareness of her role and confinement.
Via AICN, via TV Week. More bits from Ausiello.
Ok, so Fox (why did it have to be them?), do me one favor. Give it a fucking chance. Also don’t air the episodes out of order. Also don’t slot it Friday at 9pm or against Grey’s Anatomy.
Why Eliza Dushku? And why would he choose Fox again? Poor choices.
Poor, sweet, innocent Joel.
Don’t get your hopes up. 😛
aww. poor tv-o-holic cant watch both programs at once….. *rolls eyes* retardo.
@throwout
both programs? Its not that I want to watch some shitty medical soap opera. Fox notoriously pits new and quirky shows against top ratings performers so that they never have a chance to gain an audience, or in miserable time slots when no one is home watching TV.
@Monster
Sounds like they are actually friends and were looking for a way to work together again. Eliza and Joss. Not Fox and… anyone.
@Denise
My dreams are made out of Unicorn tears.
I give it five episodes.
Eliza Dushku is lovely, but this sounds really out there. I wouldn’t be surprised if it had a decent run at 2pm on Saturdays, but who in the hell watches TV at that time?
@MKR
I never took you for an optimist?
@Dean
Wow the 2pm saturday slot. The realm of Hercules, Xena, Viper, Cleopatra 2525, Mutant X, etc etc etc.
@Joel: That is optimistic!
