Josué Pereira
A cute webcomic about fanservice, video games, and... love. Mostly video games, though.
Ha, good luck with Pushing Daisies….
The Josh scowl is full of win. So are the the HE bugs (would that make Eli a cucaracha?)
The HE bugs look oddly familiar…
Joel, were you watching A Bugs Life / Ants with the kid?
shouldnt there be a final panel in which Josh ruins everything for you anyway because he'll give away all the spoilers? that way everyone wins, and that is how our friendships work.
Smug!Joel in panel 1 is AWESOME, and deathglare!Josh in panels 3 & 4 is made of win!
This is why you're great. I thought the EXACT same thing as I finished writing this one.
It was all bug's life.
Si.
You guys as insects are great. Josh has less than a year to get his Joshhopper costume ready for Halloween. I'm looking forward to it.
Antie Joel looks chipper enough to be in a Disney film. Or an ad for prescription mood elevators.
Exactly.
That's why you don't see him. The lights are on, so he's behind the fridge.
I think this goes on the top ten most awesome character drawings of all time.
Pissed off Josh for teh win!!1! We should start a post of emergency tv shows that you can watch in case of fire/strike. I'll start with 'How I Met Your Mother'.
You're more than welcome.
I think you'll like it.
I'll see your "How I met your mother" and raise you a Dresden Files.
Too much TV? I do not understand this concept.
Also:PRESSUREPRESSUREPRESSURE! (Not that we're "friends", but I thought I'd give it a shot.)
I have this whole season of heroes yet to watch! IM SO EXCITED
>.>
the grasshopper has a bug beard
I can second the vouch for The Big Bang Theory. The geeky humor is surprisingly well done. They must have some true super-geeks on the writing staff. I almost didn't watch the show because I thought it was going to be a bunch of really bad and outdated "make fun of nerds" jokes. But it's more like a bunch of really good "laugh with the nerds" jokes that are very current.
Plus, there's a super hot blonde girl that is rarely appropriately dressed.
I stopped watching Heroes because the plot lost any coherency.
I'm like the polar oppisite.I started watching heroes randomly somewhere between the second season and I thought it made total sense.
I love that you gave the grasshopper Josh's beard
oddly enough i have been waiting to watch a few of those shows as well… PLEASE no actor strike though… as much as Heroes sucks compared to the first season, i still don't want it to disappear forever… and it will if there's another strike… no doubt about it.
Pretty sure this is one of the best Hijinks Ensue comics yet.
Great art! Great writing! By your powers combined, I am… AWESOME STRIP!
Me toooooo!
Also Fringe, and basically everything but Chuck, House, The Office and 30 Rock that I'd care to start watching.
i literally downloaded the first season of BBT last night. It will comfort me in the coming weeks
Joelovir? Joelorax? Joeloft?
Win.
The books are good, and the only season I've watched (I think there might be only that one) is really good as well. Bob is not just an incorporeal skull but can take human form, albeit again incorporeal.
And it was warm behind the fridge, so he fell asleep.
NOM NOM NOM…
I can has TVburger.
Oh man the Spanish versions are so great just need to add some ponchos and sombreros and it'll be perfect.
Fear the PINCERS!
Also, your "stored" TV: do you mean DVR recordings or DVD box sets? And what do you have against Big Bang Theory? You're all about geek humor & so r they! Anyways, the last panel is EPIC WIN!!!
You will not be disappointed sir! And please don't give up after the first couple of episodes, because they smarten up the female character to average intelligence after that.
it hurts less when you already know its cancelled before you start watching it.
Most of these shows are available on their networks website, hulu or netflix.
wow. thanks.
I actually forgot to include this one in the comic. Ive never seen an ep, so I know its there waiting for me in times of need.
is a meth addict "dedicated" to meth?
My honest excuse is none of my friends are watching it or pressuring me to watch it and I already watch too much TV.
Voiced by ANtonio Banderas.
ummm… Dont. Its terrible and makes no fucking sense.
you cant tell but the grasshopper is gay too. super authentic.
damn, thanks.
No prob.
I guess I should specifically mention that I'm particularly digging that new background you've got going on recently.
No prob.
I guess I should specifically mention that I'm particularly digging that new background style you've got going on recently.
I love the Joel thought bubbles. We should have more HE comics with Joel's thoughts!
Oh wait…most HE comics ARE Joel's thoughts…
The reverse angle reveals the grasshopper's rainbow-flecked carapace
Joelzac?
Heheheheheheh!
Hey, things can only get better with Doomsday in it! Also, Clark & Lois have great chemistry together. How can you not at least grin when they bicker?
No, someone with an accent would have to be the evil grasshopper, 'cause, you know, people with accents are evil. You need a real Amurican fer the hero. Someone like … Hayden Christensen!
And wearing pink ultra-revealing short-shorts. And leg warmers
Of course, gay=evil, too, so it makes perfect sense.
thanks, i havent noticed it, by the time i start looking i was in a mentLOL state
READ it in SPANISH at spanishgeek.wordpress.com
"Josh, that stupid ass grasshopper is you," CLASSIC. Also, wtf actors' strike? First I've heard.
Sorry, but I will have to rescind your "TV Authority" status on the basis of your continuing dedication to Smallville.
So, is that your official "excuse" for not reveling in the glory of Big Bang Theory before now?
Ill put links in the post
I like how the bugs actually still look oddly like Joel and Josh…
I haven't watched that series but I really like the books. Jim Butcher does such a great job of keeping his universe running through out the books without letting it get too big.
Joelium? Joelzepan?
"CEREBROS!"
oh, shit lol
Awesome strip Joel!
Is it me or does Joel in panel 4 remind anyone of The Monarch?
Oh my god…you're totally right!
I want a HE with Joel dressed as the Monarch and Josh and Eli dressed as 21 and 24!
I'm not either, I'm Chilean/Peruvian. I just thought it was funny.
Im nawt mexican, i am argentinian andim trying to keep the comic as neutral as possible
Moar like TiVomnomnom, amirite?
I LOL'd
Noooooooooooes!!1i loved that show!
ah well, anyway the subtitle delays make the show last a lot more time…
"Hello. My name is Joel and I'm an addict"
