NYCC 2014 is this weekend and, once again, I’ll be at booth 2247 with Cyanide & Happiness! Come by, say hi… be a… guy? BRING SOME PIE!
I’ve got books, lots of prints, t-shirts and I’ll be doing sketches with the CnH guys all weekend. We’re also doing a big CnH panel and group sketch jam Saturday night. Here are some details:
Title: The Cyanide and Happiness Group Sketch Jam Panel
Date: 10/11/2014
Time: 8:00PM – 8:45PM
Location: 1A10
I hope to see some of you Fancy NYC Bastards there!
Even the alt text narrator is silenced by the import of this announcement…
The color wash background is really neat.
Thank you! I do roughly the same effect on all my backgrounds, but it's more evident in this one since there's not much else going on back there.
I dare you to go all weekend without drawing a penis.
I would go bankrupt.
Why are you telling me to go to Scalzi's blog?
I just had dinner with him and told him about this comment. It got a bit of a smirk, so good job I guess.
Smirks are what I aim for. I don't aim high.
*Joel closes door behind himself*
But in the throes of egocentrism, Joel fails to ask himself:
"Hey…why are all these people I know and love standing in the middle of this empty room?"
"What is Josh checking on the phone?"
"Why is Eli whistling sullenly?"
"Where are the cats?"
"…where's the Roomba?"
They are gathered in the only part of the room that the Roomba hasn't yet contaminated. Josh is using Google to find a way out, or maybe bear porn. Eli is drunk.
Why is my kid almost as tall as my wife? What is she standing on? Who was she standing on?
Why is Josh's phone drunk, too? What happened here?!
I hope he remembers that "Shut up forever" is a verrrrry loooooong time.
Notify the cats! Warn the bed!
I won't be able to go to the Comic Con (too late to get tickets), but I will be in New York. Taking a day bus trip with my wife. So if you happen to be around the 9/11 memorial at 12:30-ish I will keep an eye out for you. Probably not going to happen since I'm sure you'll be busy at your booth, but one of these days I would love to say hello in person. I've been reading your comic for quite a few years now.
