In reply to Shakey. My thought was that maybe Joel has Baby #2 on the way, so he was quitting HE to focus on babies. Which is good news for him, bad for us who like the comic. The good news would be that his daughter had pinned him to the ground at Festivus dinner and would be taking over the mantle of HE.
