New Comic on Tuesday

March 9th, 2009

I spent the last few days in Austin with family, so I haven’t had any free time to draw. I’ll be on the road today and home this evening so I’ll start the comic tonight and get it posted tomorrow. Sorry for the delay but life intervenes occasionally.

Big HE announcement coming in a week or two (a good one).

    Penny Arcade have made a hostile takeover and bought HE for a couple million – Joel stays on as head writer and artist and is then salaried in addition to the original purchase.

    How I would love for that to be true…

    My thought was that maybe Joel has Baby #2 on the way, so he was quitting HE to focus on babies. Which is good news for him, bad for us who like the comic. The good news would be that his daughter had pinned him to the ground at Festivus dinner and would be taking over the mantle of HE.
