We’ll be broadcasting live via Ustream.TVm FRIDAY (02-06-09) starting at 8pm(ish) central.

This will be, as so many have been in the past, a Joshless cast. Speaking of live casts and chats and such, I will be broadcasting my comic drawing live more often. Follow me on Twitter to get updates on when such things are likely to take place.

We’ll be touching base on LOST, so if you have any specific questions about the recent episodes, feel free to post them.

    What hobbies, fandoms, or interests of yours would you hold an enormous con for, either for your own enjoyment or the opportunity to point and laugh at sad sacks of soul?

    Joel, you have such an awesome and evocative voice. I know you've mentioned auditioning for voice work; have you actually worked in that field, and have you considered doing audiobooks or voice transcription for the blind?

    Since the podcast now has official music and a soundboard "professional", and sounds like something you'd hear on XM, have you ever thought about trying to find a job in radio? You'd probably start low on the pole (wait for it) but seriously, you'd make money, and still have the free time to keep drawing, and eventually might get to have your own show. I mean you already love doing voice work, why not try a career path with your voice?

    Ok, clearing up my last question.

    Josh – What I was looking for was your opinion of Hinze's robotic hosting ability, I wasn't saying she was a bitch, that's what you want in a host. I was saying she can't host/act for shit, I made more emoted speeches when I was 6. Also, what was with Denise's shocked/disgusted "AUSTRALIA?!" when she found out it was an Aussie show. That made me lol…

    I have some late comments about the post show. Do..do those go here?

    Anyway, I just can't keep my mouth shut about two of the horror movie scenes that were in that list y'all discussed. So, in the interest of keeping things short, three things:

    1. Cabin Fever: Forget legs, a girl's face gets eaten off by a dog and then you see her bright blue eyes looking at you because she's still alive. That's way, but *way* worse than the legs. I hated Cabin Fever, but I still have to admit that that face moment was real horror.

    2. Zombie (Zombi, Zombie Flesh Eaters – it goes by many names): The eye thing is pretty gruesome, but the big thing, the really kickass thing, is the shark vs zombie underwater battle! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSPG9QQg4C0

    3. Also, just 'cause I have a forum for the moment, the movie The Others is one of my favorite really scary movies. I had to watch that one sitting with my back to a wall, because I got so freaked out, and I don't freak easily. It's not gore, it's fright, and it's done really well.
