not to take this question from the podcast but it's a very one sided view from my point of view….however a lot of fact.

pretty much the answer is YES this hurts devs in a big ways. devs who work their asses off do not get anything from rentals. money is made when units are sold. now these places can buy units but that's it. there is no money made for rentals that goes to the devs.

i do not believe in these types of places personally. that in itself is a longer reply why i do not like these places so much.

going into this will draw heated discussions (i know cause i've had them before) about how games are expensive and why should they cost so much…which the other side is…well making games isn't cheap and rentals will cut into those costs.

but yes it does hurt devs in the end

Fanfic, fanvids, comment!porn, etc. What do you think of the more controversial subsections, like adult fanfic and RealPeopleFiction?
