First, a follow up to your question to me in PC #40 (reposted), even though I also answered you on twitter:
The "Podcast #39 Christmas Surprise" was fantastic – got a very positive response.
I'm taking JonnyAce out to dinner this Saturday, after he takes me to get my first tattoo!! Granted, it's not going to be as nerdtastic as his Serenity tattoo, but, you know, we can't all be superfans. Anyway… geek love FTW! Thanks SO much for helping me out with that, guys. (PS He cried like a sissy girl. Don't let him try to tell you otherwise. )
And maybe he'll chime in with his own reaction.
I'm still formulating my question for this week's PC… I'll update this comment or reply to it when I have it. But I have a feeling it's going to be a movie question, in relation to my project.

Yes the "Podcast #39 Xmas Suprise" went over very well. i am Just Christine's #1 geek, and long story short we care deeply about one another. Also i didn't cry, but i did get choked up.
question time: what midseason shows, besides Dollhouse are you looking forward to if any?
January 22nd, 2009 at 9:25 pm
You cried. Stop lying.

Question for the podcast team:
If you could take a trip anywhere in the world (money wasn't an issue) where would you go? Bonus points if it's geek related.

How bummed were you when Obama did not take the stage with Dr. Horrible's "Brand New Day" playing in the background.
Also, have you read "Bloodsucking Fiends" by Christopher Moore?

You're making a time capsule to be buried in your basement and opened 200 years from now. What do you put in to mess with future historians/preserve. Other than children.

When they announced that the song between Biden and Obama's oaths was composed by John Williams, a tiny little part of me thought it might be the Imperial March.

When you have a big enough following, would you ever consider using us fancy bastards to take over the world?

Since this is Podcast 42, have any of you guys ever come up with explanations as to why 42 is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life the Universe, and Everything, or what do you think the true question is?
I also ask this because I am crazy enough to have done this, sort of.

What's your opinion on America's sudden obsession with the supposed '12/21/2012" apocalypse? Bullshit? Does it have merit? In my opinion this is just another Y2K or a 'second coming' in missouri…why people obsess about the prospect of the brutal death of everybody ever I can't imagine
and, this is apparently an older video, but I've only recently seen it and i think it's awesome. keep in mind that this is a real movie.

Skip to the 55 second mark if you want to cut to the action. And no, josh, not that kind.

I just rewatched the 30 Rock with Nathan Lane and the fist-naming. What would you name your fists? Can you top Charles Nelson Reilly and Sandra Day-O'Connor?

Consider? Didn't you get your Domination/Subversion pack?

Have a read of this:

Interesting to see what the original starbuck thinks of both himself (which is a LOT) and the new show. Seems like kinda a tool to me…
January 23rd, 2009 at 3:28 am
oh and my fave section of this is
"Women are from Venus. Men are from Mars. Hamlet does not scan as Hamletta. Nor does Hans Solo as Hans Sally. Faceman is not the same as Facewoman. Nor does a Stardoe a Starbuck make. Men hand out cigars. Women “hand out” babies. And thus the world for thousands of years has gone’ round."
Inspiring.

People are muting the sound on music videos and playing like crap over them, except that it looks like they're actually playing it: Arguably better then actual creed songs

Question(s) acquired! Do with them as you will!
1) Relating to the "I Just Watched…" project (in the forums): I'd love it if each one of you could recommend me one movie that I HAVE to watch?
2) TV time: Do you think it's a bad omen that Sarah Connor Chronicles comes back/Dollhouse premieres on Friday the 13th? I mean, it's already Friday Night Death Slot, but on such a superstition-heavy day?
3) One more TV: On February 9th, NBC is airing a special 3D episode of Chuck (previously, they've aired an episode of Medium with 3D elements). If you could pick any show (past or present) to have a 3D episode, what show would it be?
January 23rd, 2009 at 4:52 am
ha, that's great! Very Ed Wood (in he best way possible)

Q. In reference to 42 what is the one piece of totally outlandish tech that you wish you possessed from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy?
Personally I want the bistro star engine.

Question for Josh:
Out of the following, which was the most significant moment in television history?
1. The inauguration of Barack Obama, the first African American President of the United States, who gave a speech that inspired all Americans and gave the world a comforting sense of optimism.
2. That third season episode of BSG, where the Galactica jumped into New Caprica's atmosphere, dropping like a giant fireball launching while all of her vipers, and then jumping out only hundreds of feet above the planet's surface.
3. That first season episode of Veronica Mars, where Veronica says the words "Rim Job".

Hi there. Long time reader, recent listener, first time question asker, whatever.
I have a question for everyone that I sincerely hope you haven't gotten before:
If human biology were somehow altered so that both males and females could become pregnant and/or impregnate others, regardless of gender… whose baby would you want growing inside you, and/or who would you like to impregnate? Also, why?

Can you name any good cartoons from the 80's that weren't a "jumped up fireworks display of a toy advert". This site could be useful for reference -http://www.inthe80s.com/toys/jemandtheholigramsmi...

After seeing http://foodproof.com/photos/full/bacon-cheese-rol...and cursing my vegetarianism what would your perfect food be? Even if it was impossible, something like gravy wrapped in bacon in a KFC chicken skin. Maybe a gourd hat filled with blubber and rhino skin for Denise.

The two different colour hot pants were a really nice touch. The grapefruit are helpful too.
