I did forget, though, to point out that the movie (Dead Snow) features a sex scene, in an outhouse, that ends with the girl getting covered in… fecal matter. Sorry if that spoils anything for you. Just thought that might be important to our nation's image as a source of quality entertainment, 's all.

Podcasts are usually recorded on Fridays but I always make a blog post asking for questions and links at least a day before. Subscribe to the main RSS feed and you'll never miss a post.

We dont always answer ALL of the questions but we get to most of them.

Ok, I know this podcast is old news by now, but I only recently got around to listening to the podcasts at all, so bear with me here…

Just thought I'd inform you that the Norwegian nazi zombie movie "Død Snø" is not a… serious… movie, as it were. Soooo not. It is definitely supposed to be silly and campy and stupid. Pretty much an homage to classics such as Braindead, Evil Dead, etc. I don't *think* the acting is actually supposed to be shit, though, but that's a different matter. I believe there is a scene in the movie that has more blood in it than every other Norwegian movie ever made put together.

The writer/director, Tommy Wirkola, also did a movie called "Kill Buljo: The Movie", a loosely Sami-themed parody of Kill Bill set in the far north of Norway and featuring such memorable character names as Blow Job and Bud Light, among others. It is an idea that was kinda funny as a concept and a long preview, but pretty much failed to deliver as a full length feature. And the acting in this one was truly atrocious.

Also, on a side note, how would I go about getting a question on the podcast? Do you have to be on the live chat at the time, or could one use alternate methods (such as… the e-mailz)?
