I was driving around w/ a bunch of friends in redneck country where my friend has summer house and she was telling us how redneck these people were and how they burned trash and other things in their yards. In total nonchalant fashion I say "As long as it's not crosses, I'm OK." Since I'm the only non-white person in the car and everyone loses their shit.

Hey guys,
I listen to the podcast on the bus to school all the time and have to try really hard to not laugh out loud. I especially love Eli's news/panic room sound effect, it gets me every time. Just wondering if any of you could remake any movie to make it better, which movie would it be and what would you change?
P.S. you should use the theme songs for Josh and Eli more often.

What is your opinion on the portrayal of gay characters on shows like Queer as Folk, Will and Grace, etc. (I know, two very different shows. I'm just throwing those names out there).

ok 2 questions, hopefully 1 will be picked.
first off for Joel, to my understanding you've been born, and raised in Texas, why on earth do u not have a southern accent? (this mite have been answered in an earlier PC, as i've only been listening since PC11)
Secondly for Eli/Josh: how does a Co. decide which game developers work on which games?, b'c to my understanding if you work on a successful game you get a nice bonus, so wouldn't everyone want to work on a game that's going to be successful i.e: Halo2 Gods of War 2, etc.

Also, seeing as international politics is so tighly linked and the last couple of 'casts have involved better discussions than "real" political shows, do you guys feel that we should have a say in the elections (i.e. Europe having a vote for the President etc.)

Philly checking in, kudos to you in the last castcast for mentioning how one is supposed to properly order a cheesesteak. BTW the purported "originators" of the Philly cheesesteak (Pat's and Geno's) often rank towards the bottom in the annual ratings. My fave is Jim's on South Street, but I digress.
Question: Why aren't you guys developing some of the podcast bits into a treatment for a comedy show of some sort? (perhaps you are – I don't know) With such hits as: Schindler's List – the musical, Tax Terminator, Space Porn, etc. etc. you can't miss.

With the recent success of dung heap movies like "Beverly Hills Chihuahua", do you think Hollywood is going to begin a downward spiral of making nothing but shit movies, or is this just an ebb in the general flow? Because, really? That movie was top two weeks in a row? Who the hell is going to see this crap? And what studio 'head' do I have to blow to make it stop?

#3 – Union workers who vote republican.
#2 – People that dig in their purses for the exact change, "wait, I think I have 97 cents" and count it out.
#1 – People who write checks in stores – Really? WTF is wrong with you? Do you really think that there is a possibility that they will lose your check, or that it won't be deposited for a few weeks?
