Oh, man, Aye Aye Eli was awesome. Can't wait to hear the other songs Jeff comes up with.

1. I'm from Wisconsin. Haven't seen any trace of Josh here though. I don't think we travel in the same circles. Our weather is horrible, but not in the way you think. It's too hot in the summer, and it's too cold in the winter. It was pretty mild for a couple weeks, enough so that I could turn the air conditioner off for a while. But it's up above 90 today.
Here's a graph of our average temperature: <a href=”http://www.rssweather.com/climate/Wiscon… ” target=”_blank”>http://www.rssweather.com/climate/Wisconsin/Green…
We start wearing shorts once it gets above 45°. And then when it gets above 80, I refuse to do anything outside.
2. Re: Movie Ratings. http://www.kids-in-mind.com/ goes into crazy details on any objectional content in movies. Here's a section from the page on Tropic Thunder:
SEX/NUDITY 5 – A man tries to bribe another man by saying he would perform fellatio; he goes on to describe how he'd do it, using a crude metaphor. While arguing a man tells another one to perform fellatio (in crude terms). A man talks about a pornographic movie and a man talks about masturbating. A man talks about being in love with another man. A man talks about how a scrotum-less monkey could do another person's job. A man is in a harness and says that it is in "his crack." A man uses a sexual analogy to describe setting off movie explosives.
I like how a mention of a castrated monkey shows up in the sex/nudity section. Movies that actually have nudity are even more amusing. The sex/nudity section from Eyes Wide Shut is more than 400 words long. I just like to imagine a guy with a notebook watching movies, taking notes on how many times someone says Damn, and detailing each sexual encounter.
http://christiananswers.net/spotlight/ gives scripture verses like you mentioned. Here's an actual quote from "The Longshots", that ridiculous football movie starring Ice Cube:
While “The Longshots” sent some really good messages to its viewers, there were some undesirable portions of the movie, as well. At the beginning of the relationship, Jasmine spoke very disrespectfully to Curtis. While he may have “deserved” some of her comments, Curtis was an adult that Clair, her mother, had put in charge of her. He was serving as an authority figure… a parent, if you will; and the Bible says, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right” (Ephesians 6:1).
3. By the way, my favorite minor character from DC is Matter-Eater Lad, just because of how stupid he is. All the dude can do is eat stuff. How lame is that?

I don't know if my comment posted. I'm gonna try it again.
