We will broadcast live on Ustream this Saturday (August 23rd) starting around 4pm central. Join in for the live show and the chat.
Afterward we’ll be broadcasting a Fancy Bastard Shitty Movie Live CastCast!
I’m expecting this will start between 7pm and 8pm central. Don’t know what the movies are yet, but Eli is providing them so you know they’ll be excruciating.
This was a ton of fun last time. If you missed it, here’s your chance to eat, drink, watch terrifyingly bad movies and make fun of them live with the HE crew.
You’ll be able to see and hear our movie and our comments, while making your own comments in the chat (which we will be reading).

Do you have any tales of foreign adventures that you would like to share with the group?
A quick question / recommendation mostly for Josh. Have you seen the short lived series "Hippies" starring Simon Pegg and created by Graham Linehan of Father Ted fame?
How would you feel about a live castcast quiz night FB (chatroom) vs HE (plus guests?).
Similar to episode 11's 80's TV trivia.

1. I was reading a fark thread where people gave their zombie readiness plans. It was the geekiest thing I had ever seen. Do any of you have a zombie readiness plan? I promise not to laugh at you.
2. My uncle is tall (like 6'6) and he dressed up as Hagrid for the release of the last book. It was in the local paper. I tried to do a google search for it but no luck. I'll contact his fiancee and see if she has a copy that I can plaster on the internet without his permission.

Who do you think are the most attractive SNL cast members? I think Tina Fey and Julia-Louis Dreyfus would have to be the front-runners among the women. I guess there's a part of the population who'd choose Sarah Silverman. I'll give honorable mention to Nancy Walls, Steve Carell's wife who played Michael Scott's girlfriend Carol on "The Office" and was on SNL for two seasons. Any other nominations?
4. Are there any celebrities different from your normal sexual preference who you'd have sex with if you had the chance?

Couple of questions, do you watch Eureka at all, and if so what do you think of the shitting of product placement turds. I down… PURCHASE my episodes so I dont have to watch commercials, I pay for Digital TV so's I can prerecord my shows and fast forward thru commercials, I understand that they need to make money some way, but Sci-Fi has more commercials than show these days.

Relating to last weeks movie question: favorite foreign movie? Any suggestions of ones we should watch?
Mine – Keeping Mum starring Maggie Smith and the dude who plays Mr. Bean. Intensely hilarious, and also sort of touching in a family vibe way.
(Oh and regarding the Fancy Bastard Shitty Movie Live CastCast, in order to increase the shittiness, get Starship Troopers 3 if you can. Totally worthy of this, er, honor.)

Also, are there any chain restaurants not in your area that you wish you had?
It's hard for us in my area to see the commercials for Sonic, knowing the closest one is 150 miles away.
My city (60K people, FYI) has only recently gotten a Buffalo Wild Wings, and a Red Robin, and a Taco John's, and a Qdoba (some are regional chains I'm sure you've never heard of).

I've tried to watch that show a few times, but I can't get into it. I think that show is trying too hard to be a success, so it's operating under the assumption that it already is one, and it comes out stilted.

You know if the experiment doesn't work out (which I obviously hope it will work, this is just a plan b) you should pitch your life to a studio as a tv sitcom.
"Artistic 20 something, jaded by the shackles of corporate america, sets out to follow his dream on the internets with his wacky mexican sidekick, a mildly annoying gay guy and an oddly silent yet endearing "foreign" girl.
Think about it, it's genius television. Not only that but with the website, podcast and castcast it'd be an Abrams-esque viral marketing wet dream for a tv network. When you get signed make sure you have a clause in your contract for me to be the surprise new character for season 2.
