Stan Lee is on my list of people who are probably robots, alongside Christopher Lee and Mr. "Swords!" Connery.

Instead of signing up for some sort of "official" booth, fight the man and wear a shirt that says something like "TO ME, MY FANCY BASTARDS!"; you'd be a wandering booth, selling your shit out of a backpack in dark corners of a hotel reception room like a drug dealer on prom night.

Dude I have no idea what I could do to fix that. If it is a character in the notes, I can see why. Since I post the links and such in the lyrics there are all kinds of quotes and such. Are you using the standard RSS feed or the iTunes feed? Dont even know if the iTunes feed can be utilized by any other source.

Every show needs a girl to break up all the gross man grossness.

A guy used to do that with pirated windows 95 CD's at the computer swap meet in downtown dallas. I saw him get arrested. So, no.

It's supposed to turn an iTunes feed into a regular one, but that's not working, so I'm using the RSS Feed. Like I said, it's not really a big deal. Just so you know.

Joel, a technical note that you probably can't do anything about. I stopped using iTunes because the Windows version has some bugs that were driving me crazy. I use Juice now ( http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net/ ), and of the 19 podcast feeds I'm subscribed to, only yours gives it trouble. Juice is written in Python, and when your podcast is finished downloading I get the super helpful error "UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'xbb' in position 96: ordinal not in range(128)". The best I can figure is that a character it doesn't recognize somewhere is fouling up the works. It could be anywhere in the description as well, because I know that information gets saved, as it's there when I open up the file in media player (as shown in this screenshot: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y131/zhinz/he-mp...).
Ican still play the podcast at this point, but Juice doesn't think that it's saved. So when I open it up next time, it tries to download it again and I have to tell it to cancel.
Does anyone else use a program other than iTunes to download Hijinks Ensue, and if so, have you had any troubles?

if you're gonna keep using Imac robot voice, you better do the grand galactic inquisitor from Venture Bros.

Joel, Will you be signing at CAPE, the comics expo held by Richard over at Zeus and Scott from PVP?

I listen to the YTMND soundtracks. They're the shit.
with terminator 4 (aka Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins aka Terminator: The Return of the Terminator) it's gonna be Bale as John Connor, so that might be good. But they're still shitting on the franchise by spinning so much stuff off of it. I really, really pray that this new movie is just a straight up action movie with Batman shooting robots. This is one time where I really want the movie to have nothing to do with the franchise it is associated with. It's bad enough it's McG directing. Srsly, a new Terminator trilogy? Why?
Movies have been a form of media for well close to a century. Why is it just now that Hollywood is deciding to remake and adapt the shit out of things we saw twenty years ago? I don't see any Great Train Robbery remakes or Cops remakes. I'm really getting sick of all these adaptations in film. Get your own fucking ideas, Hollywood.

Fuck, you completely missed the point of the question. Get Josh to read it, I guarantee he'll know which gaming SITE (the only part about GAMES that I mentioned didn't even make the cut) I'm talking about.
That whole 80s TV trivia thing was a waste of time right up until the "Power of GrayskullWEAAAAUGH!" bit. That not only made up for all that came before, but I was laughing so hard in my cube I literally had to wipe tears away. I almost choked trying to swallow the howling gales of LOLs I wanted to unleash.

I'll ask it to him on the next podcast. We were rushing. Sorry.

Kudos for speaking the truth about Stan Lee.

Dont get me wrong. Hes a sweet old man and I have nothing against him, but am idea-factory he is not. Remember Stripperella? Jesus. To his credit, he probably has NOTHING to do with the projects his name is attached to, but in the end, your name is all you have. Dont plaster it on shit and people wont associate you with shit.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
He IS a nice guy and I don't have anything against him. As a comic nerd I have to have some respect for him. Without him we wouldn't have the Marvel universe as it is today and that would be a shame.
In my mind he's in a situation similar to George Lucas (though nearly not as bad) where his new work is horrible and whenever he revisits the work that made him famous bad things happen.

Because of their ability to defy death?
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
I'm sure that had more to do with his selling of illegal content than anything else. I imagine the worst that the con could do is kick you out, and the police wouldn't have anything to arrest you for.

Hey man, post the links to those different artists' sites. What was it, prestongrey.com? conmo or something? Put em up!
