I'm told that Heston had Alzheimer's disease, and probably died from complications relating to that.

Alex Winter was in a movie called Freaked ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109838/ ) that was actually pretty good. At least, I thought it was funny in middle school.
Other than that, yah, the guy is hanging his entire life's work on Bill and Ted 3.

Short and sweet, but I needs me some more voices. You kept teasing: talking about LoTR on TNT (which I think should just be LNT (Lord of the Rings Network Television), as those movies are on every freaking weekend), but didn't give up any of the Sam-Wise Goodies.

i think this movie needs to be seen in it's true format of VHS. i'm sure we can all get this in digital format but holding it's true power on tape is part of the experience.
plus there is something that feels right for getting you in the mood for a shitty movie when the start of it has to do some auto-tracking

Too bad Jewel Staite wasn't there. I got to see her at the "Can't stop the Serenity" event last year… very funny, friendly, and awesome…. I ended up plastered across Whedon.info standing with her dressed like Wash – bad moustache and all

SUGGESTION:
If you hold Shift while changing the volume, it won't make the "pop" sound (that we hear on the podcast).
You can also turn it off permanently in System Preferences.
