No Joke: Josh HATES that dude.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
Sounds promising, so Im sure its soon to be cancelled.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
There was a 4? When will these nerds' lust for vengeance be satiated?
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
HAH! Thats fantastic.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
All I remember was it was made in the mid 90s and one of them was getting married. It was pretty much the same sad group of actors too. I try to block it out as best as possible but knowing it exists is bad enough.

I feel it necessary to point in light of this episode that, when talking about the site, comic, or 'cast to my wife (who's not a geek), I refer to "the Eli's Grandma guys" and she immediately knows what I'm talking about.

Whoa, I got name checked on Hijinks Ensue! My parents will be so proud. Great podcast, as usual.
"This Week In Internet" should always be started in 1930's News Talkie voice.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
needs more David Eick.
Cloverfield got the Shaft in the beginning of the episode! Let him speak!
I do love getting name dropped. I got the Frisky Dingo convo started, and I take pride in that. Boosh!
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
I love Mexico so much right now.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
I love the podcast. Where is my free bottle of crack? Sponsored by 50 Cent: Americans Will Buy Anything.

I'll try to keep my "male sack" entries as text next time
Loved the comments on the satellite dish stuff though.

Waiting for iTunes to download it…

btw…name's pronounced like "Kai"…. so maybe I was a Stargate character in a past life.
Although… my brother was the chef for the cast back in the first couple seasons! Living near Vancouver is great if you want to see that. They film scenes for that Sci Fi network show "Eureka" 5 miles from my house. The whole Dr Horrible interview deserves an award for journalism, excellent questions and guests. Do they have an award for best use of the phrase "it was the best day ever?"
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
just started to listen to it. so out of date…..
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
"you were hit…hit and run….plateless gang car"
"ah, riding dirty, no doubt. with their bubba kush"

Big Bang Theory is a CBS show on before HIMYM.
I saw one ep, and I did not like it. They're trying to hard to show "geeks". :-/
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
actually, a guy from Big Bang Theory is on the Dr. Horrible Sing Along Blog. He's the "Simon" mentioned as NPH's assistant in the interview.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
pod-castic as usual…favorite moment: whenever you just ended up yelling at David Eick
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am

February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
Dang. Got my question in too late. Now I'll never know.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:35 am
I found BBT to show geek more accurately (and funnier) than "Chuck" does. But I only made it through two episodes of Chuck.
BBT is about the adventures of four super intelligent nerds: Leonard is the most well-adjusted of the four. Sheldon doesn't understand why he shouldn't be brutally honest and tactless with everyone he meets. Howard thinks he's a lady's man, though he obviously isn't. And Raj gets so nervous around women that he can't talk.
And breaking up the sausage fest is Penny, the ditzy blonde waitress who lives in the apartment next door to Sheldon and Leonard whom Leonard has a crush on.
I guess it's more nerd than geek. I like it because the character archetypes ring true to me. I knew people like each of these guys.
Here's a link to metacritic if anyone wants other opinions.
